I graduated high school in 2009 from Thomas High School where I All Stated in basketball and was a state champion in track. I played college ball at SWOSU and NWOSU. "I love coaching for the swarm because it has a family oriented atmosphere, everyone supports everyone. You’ll see coaches sitting on other coaches benches supporting and players cheering on each other’s teams. It’s a fun environment to be around, and a great learning experience for players." |

BJ Raney - 15U
My name is Brian "BJ" Rainey.
I started my basketball career at Putnam City North High School. I was a a 4-year starter; 3 time Metro-Conference Player of the Year; McDonald's All-State and McDonald's All-American honorable mention. I played college at Seminole State, averaging 15.7 points and 7 assists, while shooting 52%from the field; and UCO, averaging 9.5 points and 6.2 assists. I joined the Swarm/Hive family in 2016 where my philosophy was "Talent wins crowds, but talent with fundamentals. wins championships." I specialize in fundamentals, offensive moves, defensive concepts, conditioning, and developing basketball IQ. "My favorite part about coaching for the Swarm is the process of developing each player's basketball IQ and skill set.
